DirectX 9.0 and one of the following DirectShow MPEG2 Codecs are required for TV Playback:
FFDshow tryouts (free download, recommended), Intervideo WinDVD, Cyberlink PowerDVD, Elecard MPEG2 Codec, BitControl MPEG2 Codec, Mainconcept MPEG2 Codec

For MPEG4 AVC and AAC only Mainconcept codecs are supported.
